Ice Rink Hire - Shopping Centres

Heads Up

Where

We can install a real ice rink at most shopping centre locations as long as we have suitable power, access and a garden hose pipe. 

When

Almost all ice rinks are installed at Christmas time but we can also install during the rest of the year too.   At other times of the year you might want to take a look at our new SnowPark attraction. 

Size

We are able to install a huge range of sizes.  Contact us and we can explain.   

Pillars / Obstacles

If you have structural pillars or obstacles in the area that you want to place the ice rink thats no problem, we have a solution. 

Access

We are aware that the venue is a public space, we can normally arrange for transport and unloading to take place out of normal operating hours if necessary. 

Turn Key

If you don't have staff availability to run your ice rink, we can do it for you.  We have extensive experience of turn-key solutions.

How it all comes together . . .

Drawings

Most shopping centres have a CAD drawing available, we can add an ice rink and boot room to your CAD drawing to scale, so you can see how it looks and we can then make amendments together easily.   

Site Visit

Once your event idea has begun to take shape, we can arrange a visit to site in order to measure up and go through it all together.

What size ice rink should we hire?  Is one of the most common questions we get asked.  The short answer is that it will largely depend on:

• Available power supply
• Suitable area available
• Budget
• Footfall

Project Manager

Click to accept our quotation, we will generate an invoice same day.  We will confirm your booking straight away with a call & email.   We will also appoint your Project Manager there and then so you have a single poitn of contact.   

Installation Team

All our installations are carried out by our fully trained, qualified and experienced field engineering team.   They will:

• Set up ice rink to the plan agreed
• Train your staff
• Be available throughout the event for support
• Dismantle your ice rink after the end of your event

Health & Safety

We will provide:

• All the necessary Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS). 
• Technical CAD drawings too if necessary.     

Chillers & Attraction Support

• We use industrially rated chillers from Europe's leading chiller manufacturers. 
• You will receive 2 or more chillers, so that you have 100% back up
• The chillers we use are designed specifically for ice rinks and are very robust and energy efficient.   
• Phone and site support provided 24/7
• Contact us and we will sort out any issues.  You will not be left wondering or waiting
• We will always attend to any issues as soon as we possibly can and your Project Manager will keep you constantly updated.

Scope of Supply

We are flexible in our scope of supply, we can do as little or as much as you are comfortable with and your budget allows.  More below:

Typical Packages:

• Beautiful real ice rink
• Comfortable ice skate package, European made, no cheap copies
• Bob skates (small adjustable skates that go over shoes)
• Best skate aids in the business.  (Polly Penguin)
• Quality rubber matting (not the cheap type that wears out)

 

Boot Room

If required we can also supply:

• Benches
• Personal lockers
• Bespoke skate racks

Rink Base

Ice Rinks need a firm 'laser levelled' base.  If you don't have a level base, that's no problem we can provide a flooring system to level.   

Covers

• Are you wondering if you should  cover your ice rink with a marquee, call us we can talk you through the pros & cons. 
• If you prefer your ice rink covered, we can offer a marquee to cover the rink and boot changing room too if required. 
• These are in fact 'temporary structures' thick aluminium sections and installed properly.  Perfect for ice rinks.

• We can supply and install suitable lighting (wash, moving heads, festoons, fairy lights etc)

Dressing

• Optional dressing service including:
• Christmas trees

Staffing

• Many clients prefer to operate the rink themselves.  Alternatively we can supply:
• Experienced and reliable staff
• At least one Ice Rink Manager at all times

Training

If you prefer to operate the ice rink yourself, no problem:

• Your staff just need to attend our comprehensive training session. 
• We will not leave site until you and your staff are comfortable with your ice rink
